Pediatric Therapy Easter Seals is the largest provider of pediatric therapy and early intervention services in central Illinois, and we offer a broad array of services for children with developmental delays and disabilities and their families. Therapy helps children with developmental delays and disabilities learn to do the things that come more easily for others. Because most of those we serve are children, therapy is embedded within play-based activities which makes learning fun for kids as they develop and grow. Therapy can take place on land or in a Warm Water Therapy pool. In FY 2010, which spans Sept. 1, 2009 - Aug. 31, 2010, Easter Seals Peoria-Bloomington served 3,270 children with special needs, and their families. Throughout the year 93% of our families indicated they were very or extremely satisfied with our services, and 98% of our children made developmental progress.
