Limestone Community High School: A 50-Year Legacy of Changing Lives
For 50 years, Limestone Community High School has stood beside Easterseals Central Illinois, championing children and families through one of the longest-running school-led fundraisers in our region. What started as a small, student-led effort has grown into a powerful tradition of giving, raising more than $1.5 million to support life-changing services for kids with disabilities.
Every year, a new generation of Limestone students' step forward to carry the torch. They rally their school, their families, and their community not because they have to, but because they believe in something bigger than themselves. United by one simple belief: every child deserves the chance to reach their full potential.
This fundraiser is more than an event; it’s a legacy. A legacy built on generations of young people choosing empathy, leadership, and service. A legacy that shows what happens when a community unites around hope and possibility.
The funds raised through Limestone Community High School’s campaign provide therapy, developmental support, and essential resources for children across Central Illinois. These services help kids speak their first words, take their first steps, build confidence, and discover their strengths. Limestone’s commitment ensures that no family has to face these challenges alone.
As we celebrate this 50-year milestone, we honor every student, teacher, parent, and supporter who has carried this tradition forward. And we invite you to join them. Your generosity fuels the next child’s breakthrough and the next family’s hope.
