Timber Pointe Outdoor Center Campership Fund

Timber Pointe Outdoor Center’s mission is steadfast – to provide specialized outdoor recreational, experiential, and family programs to individuals with disabilities and life-altering illnesses in a fun, safe and accessible environment. Our hope every year is that everyone who wants to participate in a camping adventure has the opportunity to do so, regardless of their ability to pay.

Soon, Timber Pointe Outdoor Center (TPOC) will be busting at the seams with children, adults, and families ready for an amazing summer camp experience! Planning and preparations for all 2025 programming – from our Day Camps and Overnight Camps to our Partner Camps and Family Retreats – are well underway. We cannot wait for campers and their families to experience the magic of camp.

We ask you to consider a gift to TPOC’s Campership Fund to ease any financial burden for families. An estimated $70,000 in Camperships are requested annually. Your donation, no matter the amount, to the Campership Fund will translate into a life-changing summer for all involved.

Timber Pointe Outdoor Center’s mission is steadfast – to provide specialized outdoor recreational, experiential, and family programs to individuals with disabilities and life-altering illnesses in a fun, safe and accessible environment. We are proud to have received the 2025 Gordie Kaplan Program Excellence Award from the American Camp Association Illinois, recognizing us as being at the forefront of innovation and program creation for the benefit of our campers, and as a leader in the field.

In the summer of 2024 alone, 572 campers ascended on the shoreline of Lake Bloomington, ready for a transformational week at Timber Pointe Outdoor Center. Our hope every year is that everyone who wants to participate in a camping adventure has the opportunity to do so, regardless of their ability to pay.
